Directions: Add Vitamin C Powder to liquid, cover container, and shake vigorously until powder is dissolved.

Because the L-Ascorbic Acid form of Vitamin C is water-soluble, it will only dissolve in water-based ingredients. If your formulation contains oil-based ingredients, the Vitamin C powder must be dissolved in water first (up to 20% concentration) before it is added to the oil phase. L-ascorbic acid powder will never "dissolve" in pure oil formulas.

Our 100% pure Vitamin C fine-grain size powder will dissolve in water-based liquids up to a 20% concentration. If you find your Vitamin C powder is not dissolving as expected, you are likely using too much powder for the amount of liquid in your formula.
