What is ClearLee's Melt & Pour Soap Base?

Our Melt & Pour soap base is a high quality premade soap that you can use as is or melt down to add fragrance, colorants, physical exfoliants (pumice, floral pedals, seeds, etc.), and reshape.

Our soap as already gone through the full saponification process and does not require a wait for the curing process. Simply melt, customize, cool down, and enjoy immediately!

Here at ClearLee, we are always focused on providing high quality products, which are made from high quality ingredients. Our Goat Milk Soap Base is made of real refrigerated liquid goat's milk for a delicate creamy lather. The soap has a special milk scent and a creamy "custard" color.

Our ingredients: Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Safflower Oil, Glycerine (kosher, of vegetable origin), Goat’s Milk, Purified Water, Sodium Hydroxide (saponifying agent), Sorbitol, Propylene Glycol (made from vegetable glycerine), Sorbitan Oleate (emulsifier), Oat Protein, Titanium Dioxide (mineral whitener used in opaque soap)

Our Goat's Milk Melt and Pour Soap Base is 100% Natural and made of premium ingredients

Consisting of 10% real liquid goat's milk instead of dried powder, this soap will create a nice creamy and rich lather to clean and help moisturize at the same time! The soap is packed with natural nutrients like vitamins, minerals, and proteins!

There are endless possibilities when it comes to our Melt and Pour Soap Base! Melt to add scents, colors, flower pedals, seeds, and more! Works great with soap colorants, soap fragrances, and essential oils.

Determine amount of ClearLee soap base needed and cut into small pieces to place in a microwave safe bowl. Heat on low at 15-30 sec intervals while stirring in between until soap is fully liquid. Soap can be melted in a double boiler. Handle melted soap carefully as it can burn the skin.

1) Add fragrance and/or essential oil and stir to evenly spread the fragrance. For essential oils, check the denaturation point with melted soap temp. to keep its properties.

2) Add colorant of your choosing. For a solid color, add colorant and mix thoroughly. For swirls, split the melted soap base into separate bowls, add colorant individually, and mix back into mold and swirl with a fork or skewer. The final soap color may not be exactly of the colorant because of the natural color of the soap, so keep that in mind!

3) Add physical exfoliants/decor like seeds, dried pedals, clays, etc. Try adding ClearLee Cosmetic Grade Clays for extra smoothness and slip! Make sure additions are fully dried for best results. Add into melted soap and mix and/or sprinkle it on top.

Add melted and customized soap base to any soap mold. 2lbs of ClearLee Melt and Pour Soap Base will create 8 standard 4oz soap bars! Cover and cool the soap at room temperature until completely hard (about 4-6 hours or overnight for best results). If you need results quicker, you can refrigerate it. Do NOT cool in a freezer as it may distort the final product or even cause separation of added products.
