What is retinol?

Retinol, also called vitamin A₁, is a fat-soluble vitamin in the vitamin A family that is found in food. Retinol is needed for vision, cellular development, maintenance of skin and mucous membranes, immune function and reproductive development.

Can I use this product on my eyelids?

Yes. The eyelid area is very sensitive so please use it with care. Conduct a patch test on your neck if you are using this product for the first time and then you can use it on your face and eyelids with care.

Is this cream non-comedogenic?

This formula is mostly non-comedogenic. It does include coconut oil that could be comedogenic for very acne-prone or reactive skin. Retinol doesn't clog pores but can irritate, which might trigger breakouts in the early adjustment phase.

Does it have a scent?

Yes, but we only use natural and organic essential oils to scent all of our products.

Can it be used on sensitive skin?

Retinol can sometimes be harsh on sensitive skin, so we recommend doing a patch test first. That said, our formula is gentle and designed to be safe for most skin types, including sensitive skin.
