Q. What led you to make this cleanser?

At the heart of Core by URANG is one simple goal: healthy skin. One of the most overlooked steps?especially from a young age?is cleansing. But cleansing isn’t just about removing everything thoroughly. Harsh cleansers can actually weaken the skin barrier. That’s why I wanted to create a formula that cleanses gently but effectively, without stripping the skin.

Q. Why did you choose these ingredients?

To ensure a mild yet thorough cleanse, I chose naturally derived surfactants like Lauryl Glucoside and Decyl Glucoside. These ingredients are known for their gentle cleansing power and skin compatibility. I also added apple cider vinegar and apple honey?a vegan alternative to honey?to help lightly exfoliate, soothe, and hydrate the skin. The result is a cleanser that helps refine the skin naturally, leaving it clear, calm, and balanced.

Q. Is it gentle enough to use every day?

Yes, it’s safe and gentle enough for daily use, even in the morning when skin can be more sensitive. On light makeup days, it works well as a single-step cleanser. On heavier makeup days, it’s perfect as a second cleanser. It fits easily into any skincare routine without disrupting your skin’s balance.

Q. Any stories from testing?

At first, the texture was so unique?it caught everyone’s attention. But over time, we noticed it would change in consistency. Even right before the launch, we went back and reworked the formula, repeating stability tests until we got it just right. It took time and care to perfect, and that’s why I feel such a strong connection to this cleanser.
