Calendula's energetic and vibrant growth combines the elements of water and heat fire, with a warming, scented resin found in its moisture-rich leaves and stems. The bright yellow, orange and red flowers of calendula are real sun traps, absorbing large amounts of light and warmth. The active compounds of calendula combat inflammation and promote the formation of new tissue while its carotenoids, flavonoids and essential oils strengthen the skin against external influences.

Calendula based nappy change cream helps protect and nourish the skin, supporting its natural functions.

In hard-working Nappy Change Cream we take calendula and chamomile extracts and blend with sweet almond and sesame oil, making a rich cream to reduce redness and gently care for the nappy area. Skin friendly lanolin and zinc oxide provide a protective barrier against excessive moisture.

In 2021, Weleda’s Centenary year, we decided to mark this incredible milestone and celebrate Weleda’s 100 year history, whilst simultaneously looking to the future, by pledging to plant a Weleda forest in collaboration with the environmental charity TreeSisters. The aim of this long-term project is to plant one million trees to combat climate change.
